# Launch checklist — Real estate

The launch checklist with the rows a property campaign needs before it starts: the photography delivered and cropped, the portal listing live, the price guide agreed and consistent, the inspection times correct everywhere, and the enquiries reaching an agent who is expecting them.

Everything else is the general checklist, unchanged. One row per check, with an owner by name, a due date relative to the start, an honest blocking flag, a verification method and evidence kept.

## How to use it

1. Copy this file, or the CSV version if you would rather work in a sheet.
2. Delete the rows that do not apply to this launch rather than marking them as not applicable.
3. Give every row an owner by name, and a due date relative to the start.
4. Be honest about which rows block, and keep that list short enough to mean something.
5. Write how to verify before the week of the launch, while there is time to think.
6. Keep the evidence, not just the tick.
7. After the launch, add the rows you wished you had had.

## The columns

**Area** (Text). Which part of the launch this belongs to: creative, portals, the guide, inspections, enquiry handling, vendor approval. All of them are due before the start, because a fixed date leaves no spare weeks.

**Check** (Text). The thing to confirm, written as something a person can do and answer: open each cropped asset at the size it will run and confirm the framing survives.

**Why it matters** (Text). What goes wrong if it is missed: a week of a period that cannot be extended, spent without the asset or the listing that does most of the persuading.

**Applies to** (Text). Which campaigns this covers: this listing, the office's own presence campaigns, the pre-auction stage which is a second launch inside the same campaign.

**Owner** (Text). The person who does this check, by name, and it is usually split between the marketing coordinator for production and the listing agent for anything the vendor sees.

**Due** (Text). When it is due relative to the start, counted backwards from the fixed date. Photography belongs three days out; inspection times belong the day before every inspection, not only at launch.

**Blocking** (Text). Whether the launch may proceed without it. Photography, the portal listing and a consistent guide block; a third creative format does not. In a short campaign the blocking list has to be genuinely short.

**How to verify** (Text). The specific action: open the portal listing as a buyer, check the guide reads identically in the ads, the portal and the brochure, and confirm the inspection times match the office diary.

**Evidence** (Text). What is kept: the approved asset set with the vendor's confirmation, a screenshot of the live portal listing, the inspection times as published in each place.

**Status** (Text). Not started, done, or blocked. Blocked usually means photography or the guide, and both are conversations with people outside the office rather than tasks to be worked harder.

**Verified by** (Text). Who confirmed it, where that is somebody other than the owner. The guide and the creative are confirmed by the listing agent, because the vendor's expectations sit with them.

**Verified on** (Date (YYYY-MM-DD)). The day it was confirmed. Inspection times and guides both change during a campaign, so these rows are re-checked before every inspection rather than once at the start.

**Notes** (Text). What the next person needs: the shoot that ran late, the portal that rejected a format, the guide the vendor changed mid-campaign, the check worth adding to the next listing.

## Before you commit it

- Every row has an owner by name and a due date relative to the start.
- Photography is delivered, cropped for every placement, and approved.
- The portal listing is live before the paid campaign starts.
- The price guide is the same everywhere it appears.
- Inspection times are correct in the ads, the portal and the office diary.
- Enquiries reach an agent who knows the campaign is starting.
- Every completed row has evidence attached, not only a status.
