Appearance
/settings/appearance holds the choices that are yours rather than the
workspace's. Each saves the moment you pick it, against your account, so it is
the same on your laptop, your desktop and a machine you sign in on for the
first time. There is no Save button on the page.
Light or dark
The mode is three segments side by side, a monitor, a sun and a moon. Hover one for its name; pressing one is the whole act.
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Match my device | Follows whatever your operating system is set to, hour by hour |
| Light | Always light, on every device you sign in on |
| Dark | Always dark, on every device you sign in on |
The choice is stored against your account, which is why a page you open cold already paints in your mode: the server renders the page knowing what you chose, rather than the browser deciding once it has loaded. A device that remembers a different mode from before is corrected to your stored one as soon as the page loads. Signed out, there is no account to read, so the app matches your device.
Light or dark in the account menu (your avatar, at the right of the top bar) is the same choice as the three segments, and so is the same group in the command menu: each writes the same two places, so picking a mode there is the same act as choosing it here.
Language and number format
Every amount, ratio and count in Tempio is grouped and spaced the way your
language does it — A$1,250.00 against 1.250,00 €. Pick a language here and
that is the one used, on every device. Leave it on Match my browser and the
language your browser asks for is used instead, which is what a workspace gets
before anybody opens this page.
Records are not affected. A date a platform reported a day's spend on stays pinned to that platform's day, because it is a fact about the account and not about who is reading it.
What it does not change
The workspace. Everything in the Workspace group of the settings column — members, billing, approvals, keys — belongs to the workspace and is the same for everybody in it. These belong to you.
Access
Restricted connections — how a workspace gives one client's ad account to some of its members and not to others, what each level reaches, and why a hidden connection is absent rather than refused.
Billing
Plans and what each one includes, what a metered agent message and a creative generation are, how the monthly allowances and prepaid packs are spent, and what happens at a limit.
