The confirmation
An email lands confirming the request, and the consent record keeps the wording you agreed to and the date it was taken. Nothing else is sent until there is an invitation to send.

The batch
Invitations go out in batches, in the order people joined, sized to what the connected platforms can carry rather than to the length of the list.

The smoke test
A platform is offered only once its live smoke test passes against a real account. Until it does it is not on the list of what you can connect, and no page here says otherwise.
